-BMW Operating System 8.5: This system includes a new start screen that permanently displays the navigation map or customizable widgets. QuickSelect allows direct access to functions without submenus.

In-Car Gaming: Through a partnership with AirConsole, BMW introduces in-car gaming. Passengers can play casual games using their smartphones as controllers while the vehicle is stationary.

-Curved Display: The 5 Series now features a 12.3-inch driver information display and a 14.9-inch central touchscreen under a single pane of glass. This integrates well with the BMW Interaction Bar, which includes touch-sensitive controls for HVAC and ambient lighting effects.
